Good to know
Most of what makes a garden last is underneath: the drainage, the levels and a solid base. I get that right first, then the patio, lawn and planting go on top. Retaining walls, garden rooms, driveway drainage and fence or wall heights can need planning permission or building regs. I'll tell you at quote stage if anything does, and sort it. A full garden usually takes four to ten weeks, depending on the size and what's involved.
